Empress Josephine
I was inspired to make this wedding gown after i found a painting of the sisters of Napolian at his corination. It so caught my eye that i had to attmept to recreate one of those lovely gowns to have as a wedding gown. It is made in satin with a complete overlayment of shimmer organza. The sleeves have satin embroidered ribbon sewn into them as well as edged in embroidered net lace and silk venice lace all hand beaded with pearls and sequins. The bodice and hemline are also done with these hand sewn laces and bead work. The gown is done to as near as is possible to period correctness as there are no zippers, it laces up the back. Time frame on this design is approx. circa 1795. |

Contemporary Styling for Lady Janet
For the more contemporary look i have made this lovely gownn in peachskin fabric. It feels good to the touch and is washable too. It is a sweetheart neckline with a grecian wasteline and princess cut skirt that forms a full long train. The gown is edged in beaded alencon lace as well as a hand beaded and pearled alencon lace applique on the front of the bodice, on the uniquely designed rear tails and train. Further pictures on request for details on this gown. I can create any sleeve length on this gown that you would like. |
My Titanic wedding gown
For those of us who loved the movie Titanic, I created this fun design. I used the theme of the Jump dress and brought in the most wonderful ivory and white laces possible. The top layer of lace that forms the train is white poin'de esprit lace and trimed all the way around with fine silk venice lace that was hand pearled and sequined. The middle layer of net lace is adroned with different patterns of silk venice beaded laces as well. The laces i used gave the affect of long strands of peals and beads but were all done in lace. It is a fun gown and very comfortable to wear. |

Purple isn't a color , it is an attitude!
This is the gown completed shown with and without the surcoat. I added touches to make it fit friendly as well as dressed it up a bit with touches of pearls at the neckline. The back of the gown spiral laces up in purple ribbon to match the front. |

For the Irish Lass in all of us
For this lovely lady, I created an Irish style gown made in the fabrics of the mid 1800's. She chose the celtic style shift as her undergarment and topped it with the deep navy floral print over gown and burgandy under skirt. How stunning she looks in her new outfit. |

New item at large!
This is the new look for my bodices this season. I have developed a front hook closure design on these and they are a wonderful fit. They give the conical shaping of the 16th and 17th century woman but not so tightly wrapped that you can't breath or move about. I am using this new look in several different ways. I hope you will like these as much as I do. The orders are already starting to fly in. |
Mary McGreggor came to visit
Here is the Mary McGreggor look. I was watching a favorite movie of mine called Rob Roy and spotted this outfit worn by Jessica Lange. It stuck in my mind so I went nuts and tried to make one for myself. Gee it is pretty darn close right down to the linens used. |

Mary goes shopping
I took yon Mary out for a test spin to shop at the oregon coast last weekend. She traveled well and was comfortable to wear the whole day long. We strolled along the board walk and got lots of compliments on our attire. I especially love one kind gentlmen's comment , " it is lovely to see a Lady walking down the street." Now that my dears says it all. No matter where you are, people will gladly smile at you and even give you nice nods when you are dressed in nice attire. |
